FRANCE. National Convention. Bronze 5 Sols Module Essai (Pattern), ND (1792). Paris Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-63 Brown.
cf. Maz-366 (for obv.) & Maz-367 (for obv.). Plain edge. By M. Brézin. Noted by Margolis as a restrike issue struck from rusted dies, this VERY RARE specimen appears to be a muling of two obverse dies. Rich red-brown surfaces, with some darker hues accentuating the devices.
