Grove-822. Mintage: 1,019. Diameter: 38mm; Weight: 41.56 gms. Obverse: Aztec warrior, Franciscan friar, and Spanish conquistador in foreground, with view of El Cerro de Mercado in background; Reverse: Coat-of-arms of Durango. A stunningly elite example of the type, this Superb Gem impresses with robust brilliance pairing rather enchantingly with subtle frosting upon the intricate devices.
