1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 33.13-Z.7, W-3560. Rarity-5. Draped Bust Left. VF-25 (PCGS).
130.4 grains. Glossy olive brown with a few trivial natural deposits in some of the recesses. Fairly hard and glossy with only a few minor natural planchet flaws on both sides. Struck a little off center which is not unusual for the variety. The tops of I and C of the obverse legend are just over the border while the date is lost on the reverse. The latest of seven known pairings for this obverse, here in a late state with several cracks. The reverse is also in its late state, cracked and flowlined.
PCGS# 685131.
