Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Livia, as Pax, seated right on chair, holding scepter and olive branch, and with feet on footstool; ornate chair legs, single line below. A gorgeous example of this endlessly sought-after biblical type. The obverse is perfectly centered with a stunning younger portrait of Tiberius, while the reverse appears exceptionally sharp compared to what is usually encountered. A subtle sheen emits from the surfaces along with glints of enticing iridescence.
