An attractive example with much originality and a lovely cabinet patina. Some rub at only the highest of points is observed. The oldest and the largest university in Finland with the widest range of disciplines available. The university was founded in 1640 as the Royal Academy of Abo. In 1828, it was moved to Helsingfors (now Helsinki) and was renamed "the Imperial Alexander University" in Finland.
