Sunrise-24; Carradice-Type IIIB. Obverse: Persian king or hero in kneeling-running stance right, holding spear and bow; Reverse: Incuse rectangular punch. A lustrous Daric featuring a great obverse strike with little sign of wear. Tiny flan flaw or banker's mark to the left, but otherwise a fully satisfying example.
