One of the most visually stark and impressive Heavy Dinars from the period, this Ghorid piece cites the ruler Mu'izz al-Din Muhammad who died in AH 602, but in whose name coinage was produced until AH 605 when his successor added his own name to coinage. This example displays some of the common peripheral weakness, with commendable sharpness at the centers. As the sole finest graded specimen at NGC, this Dinar can boast much allure and appeal, and we expect fierce competition to own this example.
