Balog-79. Weight: 3.58 gms. An EXTREMELY RARE early Umayyad Glass weight denominated as 18 Kharruba, this examples gives an attractive 5 line inscription that is quite clear and compelling, underneath a crescent moon. Some evidence of chipping is seen at 9 o'clock on the obverse, but this example presents nicer than most other early Umayyad weights. As such, the present example should be assured a great many excited bidders.
