Popular 19th century issue from Spain produced by the American Bank Note Company. Like the majority of classic Spanish notes this example has seen some repairs, but they are rather minimal on this note and nowhere as bad as often seen. Fantastic design of multiple cherubs on the front and a portrait of Juan Álvarez de Mendizábal (1790-1853) on the front. He was a Spanish statesman and politician known for his role in the Spanish Liberal movement. PMG Comments "Repaired."
