An exceptional representative of the type, this Gem provides very deep toning across the obverse, nearly serving as a perfect backdrop for Yuan Shih-kai's profile. Meanwhile, the reverse is argent and without toning, though a deep crescent of iridescence is evident nearer the lower left side.
