INDIA. British East India Company. Silver Rupee Pattern Restrike, 1849. London Mint. Victoria. NGC PROOF-63.
KM-PnI13; S&W-3.30; Prid-64. Type A/SG. Reeded edge. A beautiful Choice Proof Restrike, with rich luster and handsome rainbow tone that dapples across the surfaces. Evidence of marking or handling is virtually non-existent, with coherent surface quality throughout. A tremendous example that will doubtlessly pique the interest of many specialists.
