Collectors of Hong Kong banknotes will know that no issued 20, 50 and 100 Dollars are known, the 500 Dollars extremely rare and the 1000 Dollars scarce. 1995 was the second year when the Bank began issuing banknotes in Hong Kong and as to why so few notes were issued remains a enigma.
