A highly attractive color trial specimen of this popular 1939 issue. Very seldom offered in this format and a tremendous opportunity for the Middle Eastern specialist or the collector of color trials. One of just five such color trials listed in the PMG population report as of the time of cataloging and the first time we have offered this type in this format. Compared to the issued notes a wildly different color scheme and instantly recognizable as something special. The grade assigned by the grading service seems overly harsh to us, as we don't see anything that would prevent this rarity from achieving a Gem grade.
