Signed by the artist P. VINCZE at lower right border. Rev: Standing female figures with shields at left and right hold a wreath from which is suspended an open scroll inscribed "HAVING UNDERTAKEN / FOR THE GLORY / OF GOD AND THE / CHRISTIAN FAITH AND / THE HONOR OF OUR / KING AND COUNTRY / A VOYAGE TO PLANT / THE FIRST COLONY / IN THE NORTHERN / PARTS OF VIRGNIA" / MAYFLOWER COMPACT / 1620. Dates 1620 and 1970 above, MAYFLOWER below in exergue, above which is the artist's signature P. VINCZE. Edge: Marked and numbered SILVER 26 at 6 o'clock. Included are: 57 mm; and 38 mm. Both medals housed together in the original red case of issue, on the lid of which is printed VOYAGE OF THE MAYFLOWER / 350TH / ANNIVERSARY.
