Obverse: HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, bareheaded bust right, with slight drapery; Reverse: COS III P P, Hadrian standing left, raising hand and holding scepter; aquila and signum to left, signum to right. A highly pleasing example, this well centered piece offers some muted brilliance and little evidence of handling save for some light rub on the high points. An excellent representation of a Hadrian issue in gold.
