SPAIN. 8 Escudos, 1820-M GJ. Madrid Mint. Ferdinand VII. NGC AU-58.
Fr-311; KM-485; Cal-Type 13 #35. A lovely well preserved survivor with plenty of luster in the protected areas displaying light signs of handling. The high points of the obverse exhibit isolated areas of friction with muted luster in the open fields while the legends are bright and flashy. The reverse is far nicer with lots of pop boasting plenty of flash amongst the devices. Light pervasive tone give this piece a pleasant look sure to excite even the most advanced of collectors.
