WORLDWIDE: LOT of 45 coins, an interesting mix of non-machine-struck pieces from across Eurasia, including East Asia: Japan (5 mameita-gin, weighing between 1.41g and 8.47g, 1 Bunsei, 3 Tenpo, 1 Ansei); Southeast Asia: Burma (Srikshetra AR 24 ratti, Mitch-452-455, VF+ with edge chip; plus a countermarked ¼ pe of Thibaw Min, KM-25, worn), Thailand (AR 1/16 baht pot duang, 1.04g), plus a Srivijaya silver unit (likely modern imitation); South Asia: Ceylon (3 Portuguese tin fractional bazarucos, VF to EF+), Nepal (AR mohars SE1738 & SE1790, and 3 cut fractional mohars, all average grades; 11 tiny AR dams, mostly EF to Unc, plus a small copper piece), Tibet (AR ga-den tangka, VF+, and 3 cut fractional tangkas), plus a jital; Islamic: Umayyad (2 AR dirhams), Abbasid (2 AR dirhams), and Almohad (AR square dirham); and Europe: Medieval Russia (Tver AR denga of Boris Alexandrovich, H&P-7079, griffin right on both sides, Fine), plus 5 uncertain small pieces; retail value $850, lot of 45 pieces.
