ENGLAND: Richard III, 1483-1485, AR groat (3.04g), London, ND, North-1679, Spink-2156, type 2b, crowned bust facing // long cross and 3 pellets in each quarter, mintmark boar's head 2, rare type, some doubling in obverse legend, faint flan crack with possible light crimp, VF, R, ex Joe Sedillot Collection. Richard III was the last English king to die in battle. His body was just recently found in Leicester in 2012.
