SIKH EMPIRE: AE paisa (11.25g), Amritsar, VS(1)887, Herrli-01.30, KM-4var. SS-AM.10, generally as type Herrli-01.30.11 (KM-4), listed only for VS1880-1882; the year VS1887 is omitted from KM and Herrli; fine style like the normal examples dated VS1880-1882, the best known example of this date, choice VF, RRR. We have also sold two examples in Auctions 43 and 44, but this piece is far superior.
