QARAKHANID: Muhammad b. 'Ali, 1003-1024, AE fals (2.43g), Dakhkat, AH403, A-3308, Kochnev-306, Zeno-36741, citing Muhammad b. 'Ali with his laqab Sana' al-Dawla, plus the Khan (=Ahmad b. 'Ali); extremely rare mint, active for copper only in AH403; lovely bold strike, VF, RRR. A similar example sold in our Auction 42, lot 280.
