UNITED STATES: AV 5 dollars, 1894, KM-101, Liberty Head type gold 'half eagle', a wonderful lustrous example! PCGS graded MS64. The Philadelphia Mint struck just under a million five dollar gold pieces in 1894. They often come quite baggy, as evidenced by the average grade of MS61-MS62. This coin is less common in MS63, and is rare in choice. In gem, it is nearly impossible to locate.
