CHINA: Republic, purchase receipt, year 10 (1921), 181x257mm, issued by Tiandecheng's, located at Xiaonanmen (Little South Gate) of Shengjing (today's Shenyang), for a purchase of a purple python pattern robe (zi hua mang pao) worth 20 yuan in "foreign bills" (possibly Japanese yen), by Mr. Tian on the 1st day of the 6th month of the 10th year of the Republic; affixed with Republic of China 1 cent revenue stamp stamped "Fengtian Bureau of Stamp Duty", and stamped twice by Tiandecheng's; Coat 20 yen scribbled in English in pencil below, a few small edge flaws, XF-AU.
