DURRANI: Ahmad Shah, 1747-1772, AR rupee, Sahrind, AH(117)4 year 14, A-3092, outstanding quality for this scarce mint, usually found VF or less, NGC graded MS62, R. Sahrind is called Sarhind on the slab, which was derived from Sar-i Hind, which meant "gateway to India", now called Sirhind on modern maps.
