Description
ANCIENT INDIA: PANCHALA: Anonymous, ca. 350-300 BC, AR squarish piece (1.73g), Pieper-192 (this piece), flower-like symbol, uniface but with several hand-engraved short lines, perhaps to prevent clipping, choice VF, RRR, ex Wilfried Pieper Collection. This is probably the earliest type produced at Panchala.
