Description

SIKH EMPIRE: AE falus (12.33g), Peshawar, AH123(6), KM-, SICA 9:466, KM-730Album-12, in the name of the Durrani Ayyub, date on obverse, mint on reverse, which is enclosed within a sunburst, F-VF, RR. Peshawar came under Sikh control in AH1231 (1816 AD), but struck silver coins in the name of the Durrani ruler until AH1246 and copper until AH1239.
