AMIR OF AL-KHUTTAL: al-Harith b. Asad, 893-905, AR dirham (3.47g), Andijaragh, AH293, A-B1440, extremely rare mint in modern Tajikistan, citing the Samanid ruler Isma'il b. Ahmad, EF, RRR, ex M.H. Mirza Collection. A similar piece dated either AH293 or 294 was supposedly published by Mitchiner, but I have been unable to confirm that publication. The multiple dirhams assigned by Mitchiner to this mint have blundered mints, and are no longer assigned to Andijaragh.
