Good Very Fine; smoothed and tooled | ROMAN EMPIRE. Septimius Severus.
Bronze sestertius, AD 210. Rome.
Obv: L SEPT SEVERVS PIVS AVG, laureate head right. Rev: P M TR P XVIII COS III P P, Emperor standing left, sacrificing out of patera over tripod in centre and holding roll; before him, on left, Caracalla standing right, extending hand over tripod; statue of Pietas or Concordia(?) between them; SC in exergue.
Good Very Fine; smoothed and tooled.
