ROMAN EMPIRE. Elagabalus.
Silver denarius, AD 218-222. Rome.
Obv: IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, horned, laureate and draped bust right. Rev: SVMMVS SACERDOS AVG, Emperor standing facing, head left, holding patera and branch over tripod; star in left field.
Extremely Fine; underlying lustre with golden highlights, reverse struck on worn die.
