ANCIENT GREECE. PERSIA, ACHAEMENID EMPIRE. temp. Darios II.
Silver Siglos, circa 425-405 BC. Sardes (or subsidiary mint).
Obv: Persian king or hero, wearing kidaris and kandys and with quiver over shoulder, in kneeling-running stance right, holding spear over shoulder in right hand and strung bow in left. Rev: incuse punch.
