First laureate head left, B.P. for Benedetto Pistrucci below neck, legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F:D: Rev. second crowned quartered shield of arms, with an escutcheon of the Arms of Hanover, garter motto surrounding, cinquefoil stops, HONI* SOIT* QUI MAL* Y* PENSE***, ANNO 1825 below (Bull 2400; Davies 221; ESC 1251; S.3811; KM.687). Attractively toned, has been graded and slabbed by PCGS as MS64, we note they have graded 22 examples of which only 4 are higher; for comparison NGC show 54 examples graded of which only two are higher, rare this well preserved.
