George V (1910-36), Gold Proof Five-Pounds, 1911. Bare head left, with raised BM for Bertram Mackennal on truncation, legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX F. D. IND: IMP: Rev. St George and dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue, edge milled (WR 414; S.3994; Fr.402; KM.822). Toned with surface marks, has been graded and slabbed by PCGS as PR62. Value $7,500 - UP
PCGS certification 207347.62 / 36695205. The Latin legends translates on obverse as "George the Fifth by the Grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
