A dagger comprising a triangular blade with single cutting edge, ellipsoidal cross guard with ornamented edge, grip clad in densely coiled twisted wire, panel of leaf-like and hexagonal geometric motifs in relief below and on the pommel; scabbard richly and densely embossed with auspicious symbols, lattice work, floral and other forms with a Greek key collar to one face, a vertical column of X-motifs along both edges, reverse with a sinuous motif extending from top to bottom, dense annulets in the field, wooden lining. 253 grams, 27.8 cm (11 in.).
