Medieval Heraldic Artefact Group 13th-15th century A.D. A mixed group of artefacts comprising: a discoid horse harness pendant decorated with a six-pointed star surrounded by annulets, with suspension loop and remains of gilding; a lozengiform harness mount or stud decorated with an eight-pointed star or mullet and remains of blue enamelling and central piercing for attachment; a rectangular buckle plate with saltire cross, lozenge at centre and remains of enamelling, two rivet holes to one edge. Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report numbers: DENO-431495 and DENO-2E2F1B. 17.1 grams total, 28-41 mm (1 1/8 - 1 5/8 in.). Found Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, UK, by Ken Burrell whilst searching with a metal detector, since 2010.
