Description

Medieval and Other Key Group 13th-16th century A.D. and earlier. A mixed group of five iron and copper-alloy keys and key elements for various lock types, including a Roman period trilobate openwork bow. 172 grams total, 5.6-16.5 cm (2 1/4 - 6 1/2 in.). Found Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, UK, by Ken Burrell whilst searching with a metal detector, since 2010. Accompanied by multiple corresponding British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) record numbers. [5, No Reserve]
