Description

Medieval Bronze Beehive Thimble Collection
Circa 15th-16th century A.D. Comprising one thimble accompanied by a Portable Antiquities Scheme record, the thimble with a spiral of dimples extending from the base to the crown, a narrow notch to the rim; accompanied by three similar thimbles of slightly different sizes. 45 grams total, 22-27 mm (7/8 - 1 in.).

Found Berkshire, UK. Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report no.BERK-AC7B51. [4, No Reserve]
