Description

Tudor 'Thames' Iron Ball Lock
15th-17th century A.D. Formed with a spherical lock and D-shaped locking arm with square cross-section; keyhole to one face of the body. Cf. The PAS database, record id.KENT-2F53F1, for similar. 39.5 grams, 47 mm (1 7/8 in.).

Found Billingsgate spoil from the Thames foreshore, London, UK. [No Reserve]
