1st millennium B.C. and later. Comprising a resting lion pierced at the midriff and a rectangular plaque with incised grid markings. 13.3 grams total, 22-36 mm (7/8-1 3/8 in.).
From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000. From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent.
