Description

1st-3rd century A.D.. Squat hexagonal-section jar with pinched angles, flared mouth and rolled rim. Cf. Whitehouse, D., Roman Glass in the Corning Museum of Glass, vol.1, New York, 1997, item 171, for type. 64 grams, 96 mm (3 3/4 in.).
