Philip I AE 26mm of Nisibis, Mesopotamia. AD 244-249. ????? • ? ? ????? ???????? ???, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust to right, seen from rear / C?? KO?? N?CIBI MHT, temple with arched pediment and four columns enclosing draped, veiled and turreted Tyche of Antioch seated facing; above, ram (Aries) leaping to right, head to left; below, river-god Euphrates swimming to right. Unpublished in the major references with this reverse legend, including RPC Online, BMC Arabia, SNG Copenhagen. 11.96gr, 26mm, 1h [No Reserve] Good Very Fine. Apparently unpublished variant with a shorter reverse legend.
