Sicily, Syracuse AR Hemidrachm. Second Democracy, 466-405 BC. Charioteer driving fast quadriga to left; above, Nike flying to right, crowning charioteer; grain ear in exergue, [EYAPXI?A on exergue line] / Head of Arethousa to left, wearing sphendone; two dolphins around. Rizzo pl. XLIII, 6; HGC 2, 1366. 2.05gr, 17mm, 3h Good Very Fine. Nice old cabinet tone with blue and gold iridescence around the devices.
