Kings of Macedon. Philip III Arrhidaios (323-317 BC). AR Drachm (16,3 mm, 4,21 g). In the name and types of Alexander III. Kolophon, c. 322-319 BC. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress R/ Zeus Aëtophoros seated to left, holding sceptre; AΛEΞANΔPO[Y] to right, barley grain in left field, spearhead in outer right field. Price 1750. Very fine.
