John II Casimir, 1/4 Thaler Vilnius 1664 - RARE, ex. Potocki Rare 1/4 thaler, issued only in 1664 at the Vilnius Mint. Coin sought after and desired by many collectors. In the Shatalin catalogue the rarity level is R2, which does not correspond at all to the occurrence of these coins on the auction market.

Rzadki ort, emitowany tylko w 1664 roku w mennicy wileńskiej. Pozycja poszukiwana i pożądana przez wielu kolekcjonerów z Polski oraz Litwy. W katalogu Shatalina stopień rzadkości R2, co w ogóle nie pokrywa się z występowaniem tych ortów na rynku aukcyjnym. Egzemplarz ze znakomitą proweniencją ze zbioru Potockich z puncą własnościową przed portretem. Bardzo dobrze wybity jak na słabo bite orty wileńskie i z istotnymi fragmentami mocno połyskowej powierzchni. Bardzo ładna moneta, zdecydowanie ponadprzeciętna, godna zaawansowanych zbiorów!
