CILICIA, Tarsus. Tranquillina, wife of Gordian III. Augusta, 241-244 AD. Æ 32mm (18.16 gm, 12h). Diademed and draped bust right, set on crescent / TAPCO-V MHTPOPOLEWC, A/K to left; M/G/B to right, Dionysus standing facing, head left, holding cantharus and thyrsus; panther left at feet. SNG Levante 1148-1149; SNG France 1724-1725.
